Up Argentina, August 1990 » Jujuy, Humahuaca, Purmamarca and Tilcara Prev Next Slideshow

We flew to Jujuy, where we stayed 3 nights. The first day, we drove up to Humahuaca, a village in a valley at almost 3000m! The second day, we drove part-way up the same road, stopping to look at the town of Purmamarca and the incredible Cerro de los Siete Colores, then the Pucara de Tilcara and the lovely Chapel of Huacalera, right near a monument marking the Tropic of Capricorn.
